What is a “catching rod”?

When you think about it, if you use a rod that is really strong, it will put a lot of stress on the fish, but at the same time it will also put a considerable amount of stress on the angler.

As a result, you may not be able to fully demonstrate the performance of your rod and lose, or you may try to rely on your power in a fight against a super large opponent and lose without being able to do anything.

Therefore, I aimed for a rod that has enough power to hold the fish down, while also being able to quickly sense the fish's behavior and fight in advance of the fish, as well as being able to bend it firmly.

At the beginning of development, we repeated many tests to strengthen the blank, the size of the guide, and even the thickness of the grip. In the process, I met blanks that could be considered my ideal.

This is a product that uses "Nanoalloy" technology applied resin and "TORAYCAT1100G", a carbon material with the world's highest class strength.

I will never forget the excitement I felt when I first touched a prototype using this blank.

I was able to create the strongest rod that had exactly what I was looking for, the power to control the fish that comes from the rod's repulsive force, and the lightness that would allow me to quickly detect usability of the fish during a fight and the ease of maneuvering the lure.

In fact, last fall I was able to catch a 10kg amberjack using hardbait ``106XXH,'' and this spring I was able to catch a 15kg amberjack using the jig type ``99XH''.

This is a rod that can comfortably handle large hardbait such as the CiAN Pencil Serpence 220 and 190, and is the core of rock shore plucking. This is a rod with a super strong butt to belly and a flexible tip section that won't play hardbait.

This rod is a rod for handling jigs of around 100g, and it is a special rod that allows you to fly jigs violently from the tip to the butt, or gently invite them to finesse.
