国内外で開催されたトーナメントで実績を積んだ加藤誠司氏・小野俊郎の2名が自分たちの納得のいく製品作りを実現するために滋賀県大津市に事務所を構え株式会社ジャッカル設立。
創業当初からフィールドの近くで”モノづくり”をしたかった両名は琵琶湖の湖畔に会社を設立することにこだわった。

1999
当時、日本で発明され、バストーナメントシーンを席巻していたドロップショットリグ。その新たなテクニックの効果を最大限に発揮すべく、全く新しいコンセプトのワーム、クロステールシャッドをジャッカル初の製品として開発し発売。その圧倒的な釣果は日本のみならず、瞬く間に世界中に知れ渡り、バスフィッシングの本場アメリカのトーナメントでもウイニングルアーになるなど、発売から20年以上経った今でも世界中のアングラーに愛され続けています。

By gathering members with very strong individuality into one
The image of becoming a more powerful group is associated with the intelligent animal "JACKALL" that lives in Africa.
JACKALL are excellent as individuals, but by forming a group, they can broaden their hunting range and become a strong group that can even take prey on animals larger than themselves.
From here, the company name "JACKALL" was born, and a logo with it as a motif was born.

2001
Vibration which is a global standard lure.
I let it sublimate by adding a taste of JACKALL,
TN vibration, which still boasts immovable popularity, is now on sale.
It is compatible with various fish species, and has manufactured and sold more than 280,000 units worldwide so far.

2002
We started making rods to maximize the potential of our lures. In 2002, JACKALL started selling rods.
The first rod to be released was a spinning rod with specs of 5'8" ML and 6'4" ML with glass composite and carbon, and two types of grips: EVA and cork.

2004
Released FLICK SHAKE, which is still used as a main lure for many anglers. At that time, the combination of Jig Wacky and FLICK SHAKE became a hot topic. To date, we have produced and sold over 420,000 packs worldwide.
